What Have You Done To Your Tdm Today?
Rode it 66 miles to collect some special tool tips and bronze hex bar.

A very enjoyable ride, heated grips took care of the chilly hands.

Plenty of smiles per mile. Went through a puddle or two, so now it needs a wash and brush up. Rode it another 189 miles round the Cotswolds today, then low beam blew on the way back dammit.
Quote:Wicky , you need to go ride one of your bikes asap. You got bike withdrawal symptoms.
Hi Eel,  I already have!  Mick Roughan and the udder boys are ribbing me to get a bike MOT'd  in time for the spring and the Snowjoke camping trip in July.  At the moment business is so hectic i have no spare time to fettle in the evenings.  I now take every Monday off to go thru me saws, chipper, climbing kit, etc.  Saturdays are taken up with admin and site visits, sundays are a day out with Mole or we are doing jobs around the house.  In the evenings after 'work' i can sometimes be out in the garage for hours sorting out blunt saws or udder issues so my bike fettle time is nil at the moment. I need to sort out the old work / life balance. Although business is booming and i'm trying to appease everyone and keep me wan errr bank balance fat it does take its toll.

Reassembly begun after CSM servicing, but I've taken on a cherrypicker project so I guess the bike will have to wait a couple of weeks or for Sundays.

I always think losing a few kg off the beer belly is cheaper than losing 1kg off the weight of the bike at eye watering cost.
Quote:Can do Sam Barber's Adagio ........
Lol top choon that.

Leant on my topbox whilst having a cig. Huh  Really need to get the bike mot'd and taxed but gonna wait til spring.
Pushed it out of garage, cleaned it, waxed it, made look like nearly new and hurriedly pushed it back in before it got rained on. The original idea was to ride it.

In my bicycling days a friend was boasting how he'd reduced the weight of his bike by 500gm at a cost of nearly £100. He wasn't best pleased when I told him I'd achieved a similar effect by just taking a good substantial crap !    for nothing !
Took delivery of this for mine today, looks nice and comfy![attachment=o14683]

That did the trick Dappers, thanks!

Started her up, first time on the button after six weeks of standing, and let the oil warm up.

Having fitted snow tyres to both my car and the KTM this winter we've had no snow to play on (typical !), so I think I'll be taking the TDM for an MOT in a month or so after I get through a busy work period
