NitramSpecial" parking loight, tail light indicators all running on LED's & incorporate "Lite Buddies", MK7 Scottoiler fitted, taller screen, 2-2 stainless steel
CCC's, Devil stainless down pipes. MKI Renntec engine crash bars & sump guard.

engine changed july 20
07 on a dyno run it made
79.1BHP / Torque 59.9Had a brief flirtation with a 1999 MKIIa but it blew an exaust valve on the M5 so was sold on to be repaired.

most likely keep one 3VD and No. 7 and sell one 3VD and the other 4TX (MK2a)   I spotted a very nice 350 YPVS but funds are toight atm.

Had a enjoyable ride on it.

6 miles in and the CSM is still engaged grrr.

Still did 80 odd miles, the wash n fettle tomorrow will keep me out of the pub until 4pm :drinks:

 

Heated grips not reqd today.

I don't get an option, my chosen pub don't open till 4pm tomorrow. :drinks:

At least you're getting to ride it, mine is tucked up all sorn in the garage and will need an mot by the time I drag it out, which means fork seals and probably tyres,(back is borderline) Confusedorry:

Current toys: '99 XT600E, 2000 4TX, '82 Princess 30DS (where the username comes from), No longer a '03 Fazer thou.

Save the planet, it's the only one with beer!

Yeah Lee  - cleaned it only 15k ish ago ffs,  it's an annoying minor thing. Never had a problem until I stopped using either FS365 or ACF50 or Motorex P&S after every wash.

Did you fit a rubber boot to it ? Snip thin end off one of these fits perfectly. Replace screws with stainless M5x16 and M5 x 22 iirc. The 22 mm ones should be hex heads to make them easy to fit.

Fixings replaced the first time I did the job Lee - sure I've got a boot I can fit laid about in the shed. Job posponed for a few days as I have to look at some cherrypickers. Bike washed ready for action soon.....

Rode the bjesus out of it across the Wicklow gap to Hollywood (yeah i said it) and back to Glendalough for a soup ....first time in months the roads have been dry enough for a good thrashing..... :badgerrock:
