Speed Twin 1200
Whilst at the Triumph dealer sorting out a chrome cam cover for the Trumpet, I was offered a test ride on the 1200 speed twin by the very nice well endowed young lady in the showroom.

The bike is really small, but it goes like stink.

Traction control keeps the front end down.

It's aimed at the younger hooligan boys I think.

Pops and bangs badly on the over run probably from air injection to squeeze it through euro 5 and the front brake howls at low speeds.

Too cramped for a lanky lad like me but for those with short legs it would be a hoot.

Engine is a stump puller from about 2000 rpm on.

Standard pipes sound very fruity.

New about £11K with the options which is a lot for such a small bike.

If its not coffee its boobs Lee 🤣. Showroom sales persons dream you are 🤩
<p> Now Sold 😔......850 MK2A 4TX6 in Silver, Stainless steel hand rolled slip on end can, stainless 2into1 headers, K&N air filter, Hagon progressive front springs, Gdogg modified rear shock, Else Made "Ridgeback" Gel Seat, Gdogg under seat fender extender, Powrspark leads, Carbon fiber effect vinyl wrap fairing decals & logos, Michelin Pilot Road2's, V-Strom hand guards, Givi monorack & box (colour matched side rails).
I really liked a Tiger 900 Rally Pro in the metallic red, but £13,200 is a bit expensive for a bike. Plus my TDM 900 would definitely have to go if I did that.

amazing as George Whites in Oxford offered me a new 9er back in 2002 for not a lot more,  9er's from then are still fetching 2k plus which is very little depreciation over 19 years but yes it's tons of money really.
