Ahhh....remember 40 yrs ago, taking a pillion I loved (in vain at the time, but later on succeeded with) - on my CB400 four. "You just have to cling on to me!" I said - knowingly....😁

Choice today was extreme pootling or pug fix...sooo



An udder 77moiles today. Extreme pootling. We had a tiny road and tracks day. Off-road in mud with pillion was a right laugh and rear wheel loosing traction going through a ford was also mega.



Within 16miles of HOMD was totally lost and found some great roads and vuus.

Decided we would take a day off yesterday (since it looked like the last noice day this week).



30 miles of lane pootling. Through The Barringtons, The Rissingtons, The Slaughters and The Swells and on.



About 4 miles from the HOMD we discovered a way of getting past a main road without crossing...a little underground pass!!!! Many years of waiting for a gap and there was another way... hoorah for pootling!



The Tishabelle not keen on top box test fit but we will test on a short pootle. The 130 miles took us 5.5hours so not the time to find out its not comfy ◉‿◉

Local pootle around the back roads for an hour today.  Fitted a new clutch cable and wanted to see how my new C&S feels.

How was chain sprocks n noise?

Moving the bike by hand and I can't hear the chain at all, really strange, but noice.  Less vibes than before but that could be due to the condition of the old C&S.  My zorst makes that much noise I can't really hear owt else.

Not quite so good pootling today 18miles.



Last run the boike we made it back without hitting reserve (188moiles)...so we tippy toed to the Esso for a nice full brimming tank of supreme.....which I got...sadly DIESEL supreme. ಠ︵ಠ



So after acquiring the help of HOMD emergency relay service to pick up me jiggle siphon and a 25litre barrel were acquired.......not the plan for this arvo. (✷‿✷)

Luckily noticed just as i started boike to leave pump. So quick enjun off. Jiggle got all but 300ml and the rest with a dehumidifier hose and some sucking.
