What Have You Done To Your Tdm Today?
Had a steady-away ride out with a 'just passed his test' friend. We did 160 miles and the 9er used half a tank.

Home - through Hawes (mental -  are there no other cafes in Yshire?) camera van  present just before Hawes, over Buttertubs and up to Tan Hill (also flat out with visitors), down to Brough and on past Selsett res, Stanhope - Crawleyside,  towards Castleside - Consett - Durham - Home again.

Sunny n dry, summer gloves n warm with grips on 30%.

I'll find out if he enjoyed the ride on Monday

Smile

Steady indeed. Lol

Seat bedding in yet ?  That seat Ramo sold recently was one by Tony Archer, remembering our chat about seats.

I had to nip over to Ollerton this am and it was chocka on the roads, and at the Green Hut, didn't even bother stopping off.

No riding for last two months due to clavicle repair (again). Battery died whilst the bike waited patiently for my return.  Recharged battery and then lost one of the terminal screws deep in the body work when hooking up accessories.  Everything connected and running, just needs an oil and filter change now and I'm back on the road.
@SR

Strange but the seat is getting better or my behind is becoming even more toned Jury still out as far as I'm concerned, plus seat needs the pillion seal of approval.

:good: Time will tell Al.

I have to report the (Ramo) Tony Archer seat is the best I have ever put my bum on. Wider than standard it gives good support. It will still need a good serious miles test.
enjoy lol

Three weeks to the day since ordering, I have possession of a Nitron shock for the 9er. Just need to find time to fit it.

Got a second key cut. £11 at Timpsons.

Seems a bit pricey, but what can you do, can't just have one working key.

The best thing about being old is we did all our stupid stuff before the Internet was invented, so there’s no proof.

Mine is going for Mot Wednesday.
Quote:sorted out my engine bars;

They got a bit scratched (due to the bike falling over either side) and I wanted to fit some GS style highway pegs which needed a larger tube.

Got the tubes welded in and powder coated at Atherton Creative Engineering ACE

Dan has done great job
Made a tool to hold the fork innards, then put new seals in.

M20 bolt and a bit of tube from Homebase.

These foot pegs could be the answer to my prayers. Took the 9'r for a 2 hour ride out the other day and had trouble getting off of it when I got back. I'm 67 you know. The knees ain't what they used to be. Told the Mrs that I thought it was time to be looking for a maxi scooter. However, having seen your post has given me hope. I can see that these foot pegs could fit the RG engine bars,so can you please tell me where I can get them? Haven't got the bars yet, but will definitely be getting them if I can get the foot pegs. I do like the quality from the RG kid from Poland, having bought a centre stand from him recently.
A few days ago FINALLY got the carb settings correct. Today took it for a ride from Kingsport, TN to Roanoke VA. tomorrow heading to Harper's Ferry, WVA
