Well On The Way To Losing Yet Another Mate Dammit
As you get older your older than you mates start to journey to heaven. Found my good mate on floor of his home, had to bust in the door and he is now in hospital with kidney failure. It's not looking good, according to the quacks.

Fingers crossed. I've found a few people at home in recent years, and one trying to jump off a bridge

It definitely changes how you look at life

<p style="text-align:center;">Ohlins, PC3, fuel cut defeat, +4deg timing, 17" front wheel.
:giveusahug: Here's a big man hug for you matey.  Must have been a stressful event.  It's good you found him when you did Lee. Got my fingers crossed for your mate too.

I take Ma a paper every morning and check she's doing ok and I allus worry when the lights not on or the doors locked and she's fast asleep in the chair and not responding when I call her.  Even though I know she sleeps at will these days.

Hope he pulls through.

A good riding buddy of mine had a minor stroke just over a year ago. He seems to be coping OK with daily life, although he's not as mobile as he was. Whenever we talk I'm amazed by how well he seems to be coping with the limitations of what he can now do. Conversations are difficult as I don't want to talk bikes too much, and I will find it hard to go see him while on a bike. He won't be riding again and I know how much that will be hurting him as he loved it so much.

Getting old's a bitch.

The best thing about being old is we did all our stupid stuff before the Internet was invented, so there’s no proof.
I thought something was up on the previous visit when he asked to shake my hand and said " it's been an honour, thanks for everything "

I will take him home to his beloved Cornwall to X marks the spot, with a dignified final ride when the time comes.
Best of luck.

No the same exactly but I moved into my house 28 years ago. Lot of long term residents have died in that period. I'm now one of the oldest and moving up the list at to fast a rate......
Wishing your mate all the best, and with todays medicine and technology, hopefully its not his time anytime soon.
Thanks for the support guys, sadly he didn't make it back from this mission.
Sorry to hear that Lee, he obviously knew it was coming.

Looks like you're off to Cornwall soon.

Sorry to hear that Lee

my condolences

Going to miss his phone calls to come get him in the van because his mobility scooter ran out of battery.
Sorry to hear your news. All the very best to you
The Royal Enfield has come out in sympathy, no starty. It's the side stand switch, so I'm taking it to bits to clean it.
That's crap Lee, sorry to hear about your mate. It never gets any easier does it?

Finally got him registered and sorted out for the funeral. All this online only is a real ball ache.

They joined his middle name together with his surname on the form and couldn't find him. Well he hasn't walked out of hospital has he ?
Oh dear, just at a time when fook ups are not appreciated either.
