No not Boris although he certainly is an oddity, with the personal message system I have had a few with Dappers recently and each time I visit the site and have a reply there is a red icon on the envelope to tell me of a new message and it pops up in a window so easy to spot but.... I've also had a few with Lewis Blackburn recently and never yet had a notification from his messages, I've had to go and look in the message list each time to see if he's replied.

Why would it react differently to different members?

Current toys: '99 XT600E, 2000 4TX, '82 Princess 30DS (where the username comes from), No longer a '03 Fazer thou.

Save the planet, it's the only one with beer!

If you are on a normal PC or tellingbone in "full version" mode:



There is toggle option of "notification" on/off. (Top left under the two participants details)



I have just set our recent convo to "off" and then sent you another message in that PM thread......so you shouldn't get a red reminder.



So, set this to ON in Lewis PM thread and the notification should return when next Lew message arrives.......
Doin valve clearances? Use dappers valve shim exchange program and the job will be carroty - Free (other than you postin me yer shims) for sporting members.

I tweaked the toggle yesterday and it popped up (oo-er mrs..) as soon as I looked in on the site, I had assumed all pm's would be on the same settings which is what confuzled me.

Not sure why it was turned off on that one conversation.
