What Have You Done To Your Tdm Today?
A 120km test ride after assembling the exhaust. Can no longer hear the engine 😁

With new clutch, c/s, tyres, footpeg rubbers, new fork oil (and attached damping rods😶) and everything polished bike feels better than ever spite of 115' kms on the clock😎

I have 36GG hands Cliff but I'm not sure that's an official glove size.........

A new clutch cable has significantly lightened the amount of pull required - not drybollix light but good enough for my 9er wrists.

I'll report after some town work.

Lol

Yep busy Ian

Rear Avon tyre was about the same thickness as Mates.

Front T31 has a much stiffer sidewall than the front Storm.

Wired up my topbox light connector with a proper waterproof joint, so if I ever need Givi M3 plate off it will be easy.

Gave it the final clean , topped up Scottoiler ready for Cumbria.

Took the step-grandson for a ride in the light rain. He's 15 and into getting a 125cc and a license.... maybe there will be a renovation project for me soon? 😁

Anyhow, the Mk1 with a pillion is really comfy as the rear Nitro is a tad bit racey for one-up. New PRs on provide to me unprecedented confidence on wet roads. Of course rain means less lean, but gone is the old anxiety....

Yes, unbelievably improvement. I used to be nervous in rain, but think my body has understood that these tyres stick like it was dry... but of course, still afraid of spilled diesel or farmers dragging mud onto the tarmac 😱

...old tyres, otoh, are still no good, no matter how well designed....

You're right - I think I'd suggest Yam or Honda if the project is on. And - preferrably an older bike for learning and first failures...plastic and paint is expensive  Smile
