Fitting Hex Nipples To Cables
Related to pug thread. Does anyone know how the little hex ends are fitted? Looks like they are crushed on or summat with special tool?



I can't seem to find them on eBay. There are lots of threaded and grub screw types but the not the right hex shape ones.
Doin valve clearances? Use dappers valve shim exchange program and the job will be carroty - Free (other than you postin me yer shims) for sporting members.

Aren't they soldered on ?

They can't be crimped..I can't find em even at a nipple shop!!

these guys are really good like that and can offer advice.

They did a one off cable conversion for me and very reasonable

Mods; Oil pressure switch, neoprene rear inner mudguard, scottoiler, highway pegs,  fenda extenda, 1999 carbs and airbox, Kais suspension setup, later clutch springs, LED lamps, Metmachex swingarm, Hagon Shock, Oxford heated grips, 4 way fused accessory Bus, 17" 3CV front wheel, Michellin R6 tyres, GPS speedo, 5' ignition advance.
Ta no hex listed. Might try and salvage old juans by drilling and try solder attach.

I misread Hex as Her...
1992 Mk1, 76k miles, Hagon springs, MTC exhaust, 4½ gears Gone now Sad

2009 900 abs, 42k miles, Yamaha heated grips, double bubble screen, R&G crash bungs, scottoiler, Autocom, 1500 lumen LED spotlights.

I used to hex crimp heavy cleats on wire cable with a hydraulic tool to make eye splices, you need something much smaller.
