Got rid of the final two ugly carbuncle bits and replaced with some nice CNC stainless.
So it's ok to leave rusty fork caps only finger tight on a "full restoration" bike if you bin on the telly.
I found another emoji for the guy....

Actually this has been very enjoyable for me.

It's a real looker now.

Just tried to electrocute myself with my own wind up megger, poking about in coil checking the insulation on the ht side, found out the insulation is less than good. Ouch ! It's given me a love bite.

Mods; Oil pressure switch, neoprene rear inner mudguard, scottoiler, highway pegs,  fenda extenda, 1999 carbs and airbox, Kais suspension setup, later clutch springs, LED lamps, Metmachex swingarm, Hagon Shock, Oxford heated grips, 4 way fused accessory Bus, 17" 3CV front wheel, Michellin R6 tyres, GPS speedo, 5' ignition advance.
And I was the one winding the handle !
