I think the generally accepted thing is to wait till Dappers reads this section of the forum, blames an IT gitch, hits the server with a big stick, and does it manually for you.
To err is human but for a proper feckup you need computers.....

Doin valve clearances? Use dappers valve shim exchange program and the job will be carroty - Free (other than you postin me yer shims) for sporting members.
I'm getting the impression after all these years that Carpe is a bit like Hotel California where subs are concerned. The subs have been almost like a lifetime thing - you can check out, but you can never leave. You might find Dappers will accidentally delete you once in a while though (Sorry Dappers, you are forgiven really). I like to think it was because "the deleted" are special, but you can form you own opinionsÂ
Oh yeah there was that, sowwy! Can't remember how managed that..so no guarantee I wont manage it again at some point.

Ha, that seems to apply to being an admin too.

I remember 'the deleted' wans incident. Funnily enough about 5 yrs later I found the 'Merge Members' button, allows me to merge same old and new member. Unfortunately I didn't have enough faith in it working as it should, so passed on trying it.
I dunno SR. The other boogers seem to have escaped bit we got locked in.
Ahhh maybe it was the merge button or summat that started it all...anyways just after I wondered why it was so quiet in ear...ooops

Is it pc access or pc lack that is the issue? I have a spare here if needed, nothing fancy but freshly installed win10/libre office on old dell vostro 220 (2009ish, perfectly useable), it's an old work one that I got the go ahead to find a good home for as long as all company stuff was off it.

Normally an access issue SB, though the offer is greatly appreciated. Thank you.
