Same here last year, didn't catch the 30 signs, or the big picture of a camera underneath it..... and neither did the car in front and behind me.  54 in a 30, 6 points sting and 525 fine.   Buggers up my bike insurance and any hope of doing blood bikes. Worst part  is I was in a company car going to work.....I don't want to lose my licence just doing my job now, so I pay more attention !

Interested in very very old bikes with the ocasional newish one thrown in.
Got my Dutch registration certificate through, surprisingly without needing an inspection, and as bikes don't need an APK (MoT equivilent) in theory I could get away without changing the headlight (although I do plan to).

 

The rate things are closing down around here though I'm not convinced the motor factors will be open at the weekend to get the plate made up though.

Took mine out for a spin on Monday. After doing a bit of work on it. Did a 20 mile shakedown run to check the fuid level aftar draining the rad and was going to change the oil and filter when I got back. But then remebered I don't have a drain tray so will need to but one before I can do it. I had thought about halfway round that I have a new shock fitted. Which i hadn't noticed. So it must be working fine. I did think the bike was a bit easier to corner in the twisties. I have noticed in the manual ( proper yam one) that they recomend 40 to 50 Mm of chain slack checked near the rear sprocket. Yet all the advice I see is 50 to 60 mm of slack.

if I have a pillion on (rare) I noticed most of the chain slack was used up and it affected the gear changing. I recon its more like 50 to 60mm

50-60mm would be the 9r squire...

Watched as much as I could, and yes not my kind of people. Speed limits are there and if you break them you'll be in trouble.  A bit of research before going to a foreign country will let you know what is likely to happen to offenders, so if you haven't checked beforehand you're a damn fool !

79.1BHP / Torque 59.9Had a brief flirtation with a 1999 MKIIa but it blew an exaust valve on the M5 so was sold on to be repaired.

Another non advisory MOT, did have to put the big number plate back on as he has warned me before! When I showed him he said Good lad! Havent heard that for a few decades!
The Blue One : 2004 model owned 2010-2018 much loved, much missed and now living with a man in Scotland Spain.

The Black One : 2010 Model Registered 2013 owned 2018 - present .Beowulf Cans.
