just haver nothing on screen to click to upload pics from my pc , or do I have to have them on another picture hosting site and link from there  ?
Should be a button called "more reply options". In there should be ability to attach pics.

Make sure pic is not too big.

Shouldn't need to host elsewhere unless loads of pics or massive pics.

If pic is too big, email it to yourself to reduce its size.

I also cannot upload pix.

Mine are about 1MB, and the limit quoted on the upload area is 64MB. Actual .JPG size is 1936 x 2592 / 1.44MB.

I am using the same routine as I have done frequently before. I also tried the alternative method noted in the upload area involving Flash 9 - still no go.

Also, how does one remove / delete pix in one's Gallery or from elsewhere on the site? I cannot see any method.

PC running Widows 10, Firefox. Pix taken on iPad and uploaded to PC.

Earlier I had the same problem using an iPad but didn't persist with that thinking it to be a file size problem.

Can ya try reducing pic size and posting plzy?

There is limited space at the mo so raising the space allocation isn't possible now. Is something we can look at when our server hosterising is next up for renewal as is nice to have pics with detailed how to's. . And even nicer when they don't turn into a picture of a cat in 6 months time!!

OK, I'll have a go later.

Don't worry, I don't do cats.

Howzabout deleting pix?

paste the code in your post

I will take a look at pic deleting Steve. If there isn't a way for you to do it there must be a way for us to do it. Only got tellingbone access at the mo but will take a look when I have a PC to play with.

External hosting is fine but for how to's is nice to have pics hosted here...so that when buckets of photos or whoever chuck a wobbler we aren't left with hundreds of cat threads!

Supporting members get 50MB allowance for pics n stuff.  Non-sportin members get significantly less.

If JMC and Steve27bha used to be supporting members please post up so's we can change yer member status.  If you weren't but want to be sportin then please feel free to subscribe, fee is £5 and will prolly be the only time you'll pay for supporting us.

EDIT: Okeedokee, looks like you both used to be sportin so I've updated yer status to sportin.  You should both be able to post pics now. Smile

I used to sportin too, Studders. Or do ye need some cash feed?
