What Have You Done To Your Tdm Today?
Quote:usually my windscreen is on brackets(selfmade) and higher(separeted from original windscreen) I've removed them and bolted the extension lower because I expect some offroading.
Bike looks very good!

Could you show us these selfmade brackets?

I'm curious how you've done that.

Wind protection is always a pretty hot item on a TDM Smile
Well after replacing Front discs + pads , buying a refurbished set of Blue spots

The Bloody Master Cylinder has given up the ghost

Wasted a couple of hours trying to bleed them strip the cylinder

Now ordered another used one

Nothing much else can go wrong so should be back on Bike by weekend

Could do with a chain + Sprockets but that can wait till next month
Replace my bent handlebar to Renthal 756. Became a little bit wider.

Next going to thread M16x1.5 and install original heavy ends.

are those the same form as the originals? If so what are the benefits?
"As I Lay Rubber down to street, I pray for traction I can keep. But if I skid and begin to slide, please dear god protect my ride"

Mods; Oil pressure switch, neoprene rear inner mudguard, scottoiler, highway pegs,  fenda extenda, 1999 carbs and airbox, Kais suspension setup, later clutch springs, LED lamps, Metmachex swingarm, Hagon Shock, Oxford heated grips, 4 way fused accessory Bus, 17" 3CV front wheel, Michellin R6 tyres, GPS speedo, 5' ignition advance.
As for me the form is very close to original. About 20-30mm wider.

OEM 25-30 euro more expensive - this is my benefit  Smile

Managed to Lose a bolt holding the Front Brake caliper on way to work this morning

fooking scary noise and shuddering

So got creative for the journey Home[attachment=o12559]

Ordered a new set from Fowlers

Must remember to double check that I've actually tightened properly ALL Bolts in future - cos finger tight is not enough

FWR tyres in Kennington did this to my TDM back in 2002 after fitting new hoops and both bolts came out,  brake caliper was hanging down suspended by the brake hose so when i applied the front brake the brake fluid followed the path of least resistance and did nothing to slow my progress thru a sweeping left hander with a buxom pillion on board so the boike stood bolt uproight and i took the chance of running across the curve and into a bramble hedge. The boike remained upright and we were fine but had to have us and the TDM recovered back to south London. I now remove and refit my own wheels.

These arrived after I got a refund. Sat there for ages until Monday when I found 10 L brackets in Lidl for £2.

Need a switch and to move the RHS in a bit but I'm well pleased and how they fit

Fit the relay, I tapped into the dims but also fitted a switch on the handlebars so I can switch them off if I need to, check back on a few of my posts for pics on the lights working
