.....someone asked me.....and age-related blankness kicked in...

And, by the way, I seem to recall that, back in the day, when you entered something specific in the

search box, ....some related answers / topics appeared....now, it seems, the search box has only random influence on what appears....e.g if I were to search for what does TDM stand for , I might be presented with a very long list, which included posts as diverse as how to fit heated grips and where is the best chippie in Dumfreis & Galloway.....or is that an age-related fantasy?

Search don't much like tree letter words loike "oil" (not at all upsetting) or TDM (a little more inconvenient).



I make it Twin Dual-Purpoise Motorcycle. If only they had ewesed TDPM that woulda solved the search problem good n proper.
Doin valve clearances? Use dappers valve shim exchange program and the job will be carroty - Free (other than you postin me yer shims) for sporting members.

......just (re-?)entered my mind, that the original TDM was derived, at least in spirit,

from a successful (Dakar winning?) Yamaha racer.......a marketing ploy to capitalise...



? hence, maybe,TDM......Trans Dakar Motorcycle / Model ?
