Problem is I'm very good at thinking about it but then if it's a decent day I want to get out on it and if it's a crap day I don't want to spend a couple of hours cleaning it
fired the bike up, first time since October and once the petrol got to the engine, purred loike a pussycat. Â MOT in 3 weeks so will be chicken all is ok.
The blue will go well with the dark Galaxy Blue fuel tank of Muddy's old bike. The front fairing has had a couple of coats of lacquer and came up well enough for me, despite a few runs. The lower part of the front fairing is sprayed with Halfords bumper paint, which has just the right amount of sheen to look original.
Â
Side panels just need a couple coats of lacquer, when completely dried out.
Here's a good vid with a laid back approach. The activator is a key ingredient, I reckon a 500ml aerosol of activator (acetone based) would be enough to do a bike and a half....... Â
Got new crash bars today from Rafal, fitted in a few mins but had to make 2 brackets to fit my drl's where I wanted, very happy how they turned out

Back of the net....another MOT passed. But with it's first ever adviser (30k miles and 13 years)..rear brake pads worn, which was a bit of a surprise as I didn't realise I used it!! ;-)
Lock onto my co-ordinates and beam me up !!
04 900 - 92 mk 1 - r 1150 rs - Z550 A1 - 2x bonnies - plastic slug -XL185 - ...not in that order !! (and one or two i don't want / dare to own up to !!)

They must be binding through lack of use then :rotflmmfao:
Been commuting to work on the bike since before xmas and over the last week noticed the front was a bit wobbly so on inspection the tyre has little bulges just above the chicken strips I'm thinking this 5 year old tyre with only about 4000km on it don't like the rain as it only ever had dry days, time to price a new one even tho there's plenty thread leftÂ
