3Vd For Spares Or Repairs.
Hello everyone.

I have owned this for a long time, but as you can see it's way beyond me doing up now.

Good bits:

Everything should work. It was layed up pending a refurb but that never happened, and the cover blew off so it went to ruin. It has a Predator exhaust, Renthal bars, Givi rack plate, Engine should be fine. Not crashed or bent anywhere.

Bad bits:

Er, well it's been outside for years, pretty much enough said.

Best offer before Christmas that's over £200 gets it. I can deliver if you like for £1/mile from HG43QW if it helps out.

Jolly sorry to see it go. I want another one.

Thanks

Giles

Well, doesn't look too bad  Smile

Bjørge
What's the mileage Giles ?  Also, do you have any history ?

EDIT: oh and, does it have the side panels ?

Hi Studley.

It has 29636 miles. Last mot it's had 28987, so you can see how much I ended up using it.

I have a bunch of reciepts, mainly service items and the like.

I have the plastics somewhere, as far as I can remember it's all there but I recommend anyone interested to come and have a look to make sure it has what you want.

Thanks

Giles
Looks ok.....wish it was closer (He says , looking up van rental prices from Edinburgh)

Pity you couldn't squeeze it through an MOT

Crikey !! £200 that's worth it for the exhaust and the elusive "belly pan" thing alone and sell the rest on and make a quick buck, gotta be snapped up surely  Smile

You could hire a van for half a day for less, mid-week.

I've said I'll take it if it hangs around for a while and it needs to be moved on, but I'ld be hiring a van for that (200 miles away)

With the wheels and handlebars off it would just slide into the back of a large estate car on it's side

Hi all.

Just to clarify some messages.. it doesn't have to go before Christmas, I have plenty of room, it's just I thought a time limit makes sense.

The forum has been very kind to me with help and even free spares so I wanted to make sure it goes back to someone on it. It won't be sold elsewhere, just let me know what you are happy to pay for it and I'll let the highest bidder have it.

The delivery option would need me to hire a van, so to cover this I think £1/mile (each way) makes sense. I would be able to deliver it after Christmas, to suit you.

When I last used the bike it worked well, I don't know what can go wrong being left outside so I'm really sorry I can't guarantee anything. Maybe assume the worst?

All my best

Giles

Most have them have a mileage limit with a silly per mile surcharge. Cheapest would be a 24hr hire mid week and no mileage surcharge. A courier to Aberdeen might be 150

I drove within 3 miles of it (Ripon) yesterday....   I couldn't turf the wife and two dogs out to fit it in or i would have been right there with the money.

Might be going back down in January sometimes, thinking I might try a weekday van hire,,,,, unless it isn't there any more by the time i get myself organised !
