So I have something to Ride when I make an A*** of it
Â
Â
I've been looking, ever since taking my daughters 600 divvy out for some runs, something small and light would be fun. Just had a friend around who needed help to change the clutch cable on his SV650, and I had ride of that.....excusing the very forward leaning riding position it was a lot of fun
Anybody ridden the Corrieyairack Pass from Laggan to Fort Augustus recently ? Officially, you're not supposed to, but who's going to stop you ?

The first two were taken at the end of June 1978 and yes, we did get stuck in the snow at the top.
The last one was my company bike in 1982 when I worked for a BMW dealership.....the management thought that I was just using it to go to and from the garage....

I get what you are saying about the SV riding position had one as a courtesy bike a few years back took me 4/5 weeks to settle with it
Had to give back a week or so later
Was in Yamaha dealers a couple of weeks ago and everything felt like that forward leaning

I'm looking at mt-03's, the 660cc older version. That's a sit forward position but nothing like as severe as the SV. A bigger engine in the Divvy 600 would do, but not the 900 because it weighs a lot more than the 600. I'ld love an older XT 500/550/600 but they're prime dollar, and maybe not the fastest
Start of the week I rode down to Hull, cross country from Edinburgh, and back a couple of days later. mpg took a hit due to panniers but still 170 miles to a tank not being careful  Odometer now at 104,500 miles
