Photobucket Fix

Saw this on another forum - brings back all those blocked Photobucket pix

 

If you're using Google Chrome, go to the three dots on the right side of the screen and click them. A drop down should appear. Hover your mouse over "More Tools," and when the next drop down appears, click on extensions. Go to the link towards the bottom that says "Get more extensions." In the search box, type "Photobucket Fix," and hit enter. Click the install button and once it's done, you should be able to see photobucket pictures again.

For FireFox users, click on the three bars on the right side of the screen, then click on add ons. Click search for "photobucket hotlink" and click install. Same result.

Dan, fantastic you would'nt believe how many forums i've been on and unable to view, just done the add on for Firefox and working just fine, thanks very much for sharing :good:

 

Anyone doing this can check CB's 9r service tutorial in the knowledgebase for success, they were all photobucket snaps.

Working on Chrome - great stuff, been annoying me for ages trying to find info on old threads and unable to see the pictures.

Not working on my old Firefox, I'm a version out.  Must be 'cos I'm running on 32bit thingywotsit.

Just to confirm this.

 

When the you search for the EXTN in Chrome you get three search results.  The following two worked for me:

Photobucket Hotlink Fix

Photobucket Embedded Image Fix

 

The other one (photobucket embed fix) did not work (for me).

Just had the 'error' picture pop up on a forum.  Seems to be working elsewhere though, so not sure if just an odd occasional thing or if Photobucket are updating there software to stop the plug-in.

Looks to work for the Opera browser as well (menu, extensions, get extensions).

I was thinking all the old photos were deleted when all along it is my browser settings.
