Just seen this Wolf Titanium air jacket on ebay for £99 in case anyone's interested:
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Wolf-Titanium-...58c9e6aa54

Reviews on a different site for the Wolf Titanium Outlast do say the shoulders hold water for a while which makes me think it's not bonded gore-tex throughout, but for less than a hundred quid it's gotta be a good deal. The seller is based in Peterborough if it helps.

Edited: Only Small, Medium & 5XL available so little'uns and largies only need apply!

Gowza, the Wolf Titanium I bagged on Ebay was a 5xl, I'm a 48/50" chest and I like things a little "roomy". Wolf tend to be quite snug on their sizes so if anybody is considering the jacket and they are local, it's certainly worth a run out to the shop. I am normally an xl or xxl in t-shirts, tops etc and the 5xl was something of a surprise when it fitted well!!!

The Wolf air jacket has a removable waterproof lining so it's not bonded gore-tex. Wink
The Wolf Titanium Outlast is bonded, not Gore-tex though, has kept me dry this summer, not sure if it will be warm enough for winter unless you buy a bigger size for more layers underneath !!

I have had a Held Touring for a little over a year now. Cracking jacket for the money

I have a cheap leather jacket and a royal navy gore tex coat for waterproofing. Totally stormproof, the only coat I've ever know to be completely dependable. Got it for £35 army surplus. One layer, gors over leather easy
I currently have richa, find it really comfy to wear.on my last soaking only my gloves and boots leaked..any recommendations on those items?
Gloves and boots are best goretex in my experience, i like TCX personally but also have Daytona, Altbergs get a good mention..

Go Altberg, the most comfortable boot you will ever wear and fully waterproof to boot! So much so that I have a pair of TCX gortex boots sat in a box at home that dont even get a look in now.

If you simply must have Gore-Tex, don't go Altberg (there's nowt wrong with the boots). Altberg use Sympatex and have done for a while.........

My wife wears sealskinz for running in the winter. She reckons they do the job but they're quite a stiff material so I'm not convinced about comfort

I use gore-tex boot liners in my Dainese boots. The boots are comfy but pathetic at being wetproof. This winter will be new wellies yea and heated socks.
