Changed the front brake pads, given the pistons a good clean while I was in there, reassembled everything, checked the manual for the torque settings....bugger, the springs are directional and it turned out I'd put them both in the wrong way round.  D'Oh.

2009 900 abs, 42k miles, Yamaha heated grips, double bubble screen, R&G crash bungs, scottoiler, Autocom, 1500 lumen LED spotlights.

Took them for a blast on Folembray Circuit in France. Bloody awesome. We had people coming over all day long to ask about them. They put the Tigers and Multi Stradas to shame! Lol
You don't need balls to ride a big bike.

I scratched my 900, while pushing my impulse ebay buy back in the garage - a non running BMW K100RTIC ....which I got running an hour after i got it home by draining the 0.5 litre of water from the bottom of the fuel tank, and now she runs well.

Pretty heavy buggers aren't they !

<p style="text-align:center;">Ohlins, PC3, fuel cut defeat, +4deg timing, 17" front wheel.
Mine keeps disappearing since I put that A2 restrictor kit on it .........Chris is having fun though  Rolleyes

OK it wasn't the TDM but this is the first time I've put a tyre on using zip ties, and a spray of Mr sheen. Tyre popped on no prob.

Cheers Drewpy. Not yet made it across for a TT yet.
Well worth a visit.  We had a Carpe meet over there some years back, and this was only the second time I'd been.  Only there for a weekend with a few other things on as well but manged a couple of laps of the TT course and met up with a local former Carpe member for a blat down the west coast and a couple laps of the Southern 100 course.

The TT is a fantastic holiday, and anyone who hasn't been should really make the effort. You won't be disappointed (IF you ccan find somewhere to stay!).

The picture shows The Bungalow, with Hailwood Rise in the distance. I'm guessing but the statue must be of the man himself. The Manx Electric Railway can be seen off to the left.

Very nice pic.

Riggers.

Prefer the Manx [Classic TT now] little bit more laid back

For a challenging summer try the

Round Britain Rally.....
