Just parked outside Victoria hotel, Leichester - very satisfied, very tired.
Story goes on tomorrow, continentalizing the bike by swapping lights in the morning. An adventure!

On Dover-Calais, all good so far.
Swapped headlights and instrument with dagosh88, and thanks for the cake! Just had the last ones! :-)
Looked for fuel tap to prepare for reserve condition but found none. Somewhat later I found the fuel gage, it even counts km from reserve ! Wow !
Better on motorways thank the mk1, but I can't wait to test it in the twisties....

No,sweets and waterproof gloves are the two mandatory items on a trip like this :-)
Did the last tankfull at 4.2l/100kr at avg cruise speed of 120km/h - not bad.
Butt not too bad, getting better every hour. Another 1500kms to go..... did some 600 yesterday.
Next time I'll take a week and do some B-roads!

I've told you that with my wife and all the luggage on the beam was just right, so I never bothered to adjust anything.
Â
I also mounted the projector lights, so I didn't need anything more.

Any other time a warm beer would be disgusting, but being cold to the bones, a couple of room tempered ones did the trick âº
BTW, the journey has come to an end, 2000kms of tarmac is history and I was welcomed back with ice cold beer and freezed glasses ð
Tyre squared noticeably, 5 tankfulls of gas vapourized, the 9er is home !
Thanks to you that made it possible and to you that watched!
PS.: Did I mention - what a cracking bike !?
