 *****Note change of arrival date*****
Â
10 years ago today is when I was welcomed into this amazing fraternity of friendly, helpful, cooperative, fellow, proud TDMsters and I thank you from the bottom of my heart. Â
Â
What better way to celebrate than to return to the UK to ride a TDM again.Â
Â
Flights are booked for arrival Qatar Airlines 12pm Tuesday 23 August 2016, heading north to Grantham to collect Sidey's (fabulously prepared ex Studley TDM); watch the BSB Cadwell Park practice Saturday 27 August before venturing west the next day to ride Southern Ireland and return through Wales to Grantham by say 13/14th September for more adventures over the pond sailing 16th September.

Â
Love to meet up :good: but not sure whether I'm leaving from the north returning in the south or vice versa at this stage, accumulating options at this early stage to help planning, depends on how long Ireland will take.
Â
I'll be staying with friends in Dorstone a couple of nights as some stage.
See how your plans develop, if it's Dorstone in Herefordshire would be a lovely run down from Holyhead, which is roughly the way we head down to Leominster for a scenic route, depending where you end up in Ireland i guess you may end up ferrying from Rosslare..

Quote:We are in the original South Wales. As a reference we are close to Newport. Swmbo says you are more than welcome to stay with us over night or as long as you want.
Thank you for your very kind offer, much appreciated. When the time gets closer we may look at your free time schedule and work some riding together in.

Hahaha! Ouch! Won't make that mistake again, how embarrassing.
Luckily it only slowed my braking into corners a tad.
Well if all else fails, I can pick you up. I used to do a bit of the old airport taxi-ing (fond memories rushing back aaahhhh.....) And I don't live to far from Grantham. My work is damn flexible and I'm all over the place so it won't be any trouble to work it in.

Thanks for your very kind offer. Will keep you in mind.
I would love to meet more Carpedians on my new travels.
Â
Â
I'll be heading west (ish) from Grantham through to Ireland and back through Wales between late 24 August to approx 13 September 2016.
Â
If you are interested in riding together, let me know available times to enable route planning.
Â
I know I can't see everyone, but I'm generally good at navigating the ground efficiently, just ask "Hartsideman" of our travels and fun times in July 2014.Â
