Sunday 5th took it over to the west coast via two ferries to visit the Crinan canal for my Club's Challenge. Superb weather.

Monday 6th took it to Knockhill for an IAM Skills Day. Good fun, good advice and instruction, absolutely fantastic weather.

Fitted some of those fleabay CNC adjustable levers which look nice IMO but have a good bit vertical slop!

I will be on the lookout for some shimming as soon as I measure the float (not today as the shed is two-pints please, hot).

The plus side is I now have spare levers under the seat for repairs when someone knocks over the bike, bike falls over with only gravity as an assistant or I fk up.

Catteeclan,

You did a very nice job.

Looks very good.

I hope your bike runs better with these filters.

Greetings,Frits from Holland
First ride out tonight on the Niner I bought from Roger - 50 odd miles on my twisty test track  ............Sounds lovely .........but ........

Need to do the airbox mod this weekend .......not impressed by the stop or go throttle response

Need to fiddle with the suspension as well ......especially front ......get it set up for me

It just clocked up 27 000 tonight, so I think new fork oil might not go amiss either .........when I have time

You gonna stick it in Hilltop Mick?

2002 TDM900 Yellow
Think I'll get the rest sorted first - no point it going faster if it doesn't handle right  Wink

I think if I can't get the suspension set up properly, the first decent spend on it will have to be a Nitron shock, as the original will be a bit tired after 27 000 miles anyway .......Hilltop will have to wait until next year

Anyway, am currently saving up for refurb of the ESA shockers on my GSA, which ain't gonna be cheap  Rolleyes

You got time for the GB Cafe tomorrow Mick ? :unsure2:
Think so, but will need to get there for Nine

SWMBO has plenty of jobs for me as punishment for sliding off to the TT & other things bike related  Rolleyes

Okeedokee Mick, 9am it is.  I don't mind if you wanna give it a miss though, I know you're busy ? :unsure2:
Might even come on a TDM  :good:

Took a deep breath...counted to 100...bit my tongue...clenched my fists...

Fnar fnar !

I can do that airbox mod for you, if you've got 20 mins spare Mick.
