Chris Walker Kawasaki Grantham Brekky Meetup 21St May
EDIT: 10am Meetup for a brekky and chinwag on the 21st May.

Sidey has mentioned this place a few times now and reckons it's a good cafe. Smile  I haven't talked to Mick yet but thought I'd post this up so's peeps can discuss a suitable date and also if anyone wants to have a rideout to the seaside (Skeggy) or possibly Willingham woods after brekky.

They ARE open on a Sunday  :good:

Glad you worked that one out Catteeclan. Lol  Maybe get some fellow carpedians over your way to come up for a brekky. Smile

Ok, soooo, how about Saturday the 21st May and/or 11th June ?  Could just have a brekky reccy on the 21st as it's pretty short notice, with a rideout on the 11th ?  Or make it a Sunday if it suits.  Either day is fine with me.

Can't make the 11th June, moving boy No 2 to his new flat. Should be ok next week.

Sorry SR can't make the 21st May & horse sitting first fortnight in June while wife & daughter in Italy Confusedorry:

Anyhow the 11th is the biggest day of the year in Carlisle. Its the Cumberland show. Horses, cows, tractors & Cumberland sausage baps :clapping: but after that I am available for a good breakfast. :good:

All I have planned for the rest of the season is Leominster in July & the Ulster in August.

I'm OK for 21st Studders

Can have brekkie, then carry on down to Baldo's - got to pick the X-Country up from being restricted so Boy can use it

Horse sitting ! Huh

Reet, 21st it is then. Shall we say around 10am ?

I'll edit the title and first post. Smile

Watching the weather, don't mind rain but not pissing down all day.

:good:  Completely understand.  It's a long way for a brekky, coming from Norfolk.
Forecast shows more cloud than rain at the mo so looking better than the morning.

Just got back and the misses has just stuck a cuppa in front of me.  :good:

Few spits of rain here and there which didn't spoil the ride at all. Looking forward to the next one, cheers.  :drinks:

Great to meet up with Catteeclan and Mick and talk bollox for an hour or two. :good: We'll have to sort a rideout some time.  Brekky at The Stalkers was nice, not quite as good as the offerings at the GB Cafe, but freshly cooked and promptly served nontheless.  Had a look at the new style Versys 1000, looks a lot better than the weird old stylee wan.  Quite liked the Z1000S too, looks like a good allrounder with factory fitted panniers.

Weather held out and I had a dry run back home.
