Took delivery of a secondhand rear wheel (£63 compared to £55 to powder coat my current one) and dropped it off at my local bike shop to fit the race scrubbed RS2 I've been waiting to fit.
Thought I'd get it out of the shadowy corner and see how she's looking in some sunlight... [attachment=o7741][attachment=o7742][attachment=o7743][attachment=o7744]  ....Think I might get the belly pan touched up in proper SMX black.

Stealth black and looks bloody mean, love those carbon chicken inserts, the rear hangers and pegs in black like Iâve done would look nuts on that machine?

Agree, nice bike that, mine was meant to be black, when I collected it to my shock it was grey, that's what happens when you reserve stuff over the phone!

Drained 4L of oil from the engine, replaced it with 4L of full-synthetic oil. Oil filter change too, still checking the way it goes inside the casing on the manual - shame on me !
Lubricated the chain and checked the rear transmission which is still in good shape - oem kit is now 70.000km.
Rad back on today, twice, 1st time forget to put the fan on the back new hoses and flush and new coolant, clocks back on with new bulbs and the brakes given a clean up, got a couple of stiff pots on the left side,so they'll be coming off again soon, thats all for now.

Yesterday, took the 9'er to the local jetwash to clean the engine and swinger. Engine looks a bit cleaner but it didn't touch the crap on the swinger. Oiled and adjusted the drivechain and went for a pootle in the lovely sunshine.
Rode it yesterday. 175 miles of East Anglian twisties and beautiful weather. Pleased with the 30mm bar risers and reducing fork drop but boy, is she tall now! My lovely tank bag is also making me look like an arse at low speed. Didn't help that in the middle of a ride out that I organised for some fellow lady bikers, my effing satnav took us down a rocky track and straight into field.
