Quote:I do like the look of those Bagsters, just for protection :-)
I put one on my R1 which was mint with just 3k miles on it when I got it. I toured on it quite a lot although I didn't get on with the Bagster tank bag in the end. I didn't take the cover off for about 4 years. I was bricking it when I did finally take it off. I needn't have worried, the tank looked as good as it did the day it was born. The one on the TDM is Top Sellerie. 72 + postage. Identical to Bagster but cheaper. The tank bag that goes with it is nice too and not as bulky as my R1 tank bag was.
Kelpie, what are the differences between TAP 3945 and TAP 1549 (I know the last one needs 15 days to be made) ? From what I've seen both models have the same colour code (black) and they have the same price (72 euros).Have they the same shape or not?
Thank you.

Gave it a good soapy wash to get rid of the saltyness, and waxed.

Fitted a handlebar pushbutton to control the handguard DRL display programs...
A cheap generic motorcycle horn button off ebay, but it has solid copper contacts inside so maybe it will last

Fed up with having to monitor the handguard mounts because the locking bolt slowly rotates in the bar ends on rough roads, I fudged a bracket to hold the inner part of the handguard rigidly...
Got it all cleaned up today along with it's associated parts and the around the sprocket and back of the bike, 18 months it's been in Lee, slid out like a t*rdÂ

She does, not much choice anyway, the shed cupboard thing is full, was her suggestion plus the rugs getting binned next month.
Â
But she took exception when i cleaned it with her knickersÂ

I got a ride to the new Forth crossing, still under construction...
[attachment=o7674]
Â
Â
And got a good view of all three Firth of Forth bridges together
Â
[attachment=o7675]
Â
Brace yourselves....... The red bridge on the right is the first Firth of Forth bridge, the unfinished bridge to the left is the third Firth of Forth bridge at Queensferry but it's the fourth Firth of Forth bridge over the Forth because Kincardine is the other one.
Â
The bridge in the middle is the old grey suspension Firth of Forth road bridge which was the second Firth of Forth road bridge to be built
Great pics, here's a couple of my spring oil change, boring I know... Interesting seeing/hearing what you're all up too..

Ooosh, so clean
