What Have You Done To Your Tdm Today?
Put some injector cleaner in the tank and ran it for a few minutes....leaving it to do its work now.

Noticed the forecast for this weekend is possibly 10 degrees celsius and possibly sunshine.....if that comes to fruition i'm going for a big ride this weekend, dont mind where just a few hours enjoying it running well.
<p style="text-align:center;">Ohlins, PC3, fuel cut defeat, +4deg timing, 17" front wheel.
Me too, well, going for a ride to sunny Mablethorpe this Sunday to watch some beach racing.

Currently fitting mirror extenders, handguards and topbox.
Got the seat back from Tony Archer today. I went for a subtle emulation of the Mk 1's two-tone seat. Just to add a bit more definition between the two colours, I had the dark grey in suede effect and the black in gloss vinyl.     [attachment=o7341]

I like it, Think the grey will be more obvious once fitted on the bike.

Recommissioned my led brake light modulator and fitted it... results below.

Also changed the oil and filter and managed a good hour long run out, to bed in the new brake pads and check out the suspension improvements. Now it feels like the bike is absorbing bumps and dips rather than following them.

I've disconnected the exhaust auxiliary air from the air filter box, i think it runs smoother because of it, but I need to get more familiar with it to make a good comparison.

Cursed it for turning over but not firing, leaving me stranded at work after everyone's gone home. Now it's sitting there, glaring at me.. defiantly refusing to sort itself out and just take me home. That Damned Motorcycle indeed!!

I rode a 220mile round trip out to Glencoe.......stunning scenery, the land where parts of 'Skyfall' was filmed....A bit misty and some snow on the hills, fantastic like that Smile

Decided I really like this bike about as much as I hoped I would, I just wanted something with low down torque to pull me out of corners and today just confirmed it's about right for me.

Used 17.3 litres of fuel over 196 miles....51.5mpg   ...I like those sorts of numbers !

Here's a bit of footage.....  Cue Adele singing 'Skyfall'....

You're welcome.....  This time of year there's a lack of tourists and it's not normally so warm, so there were lots of stretches of dry empty road.

Lunch was a hot haggis pasty and coffee at the Green Welly, Tyndrum,  there were at least a dozen bikes in the carpark when I pulled in

Got there at 10.03am ready for the start, and to meet up with fellow hardcore bikers Sidey + boy, Gary + boy and CelticBiker + wifey.  Great to meet you all. Smile  Ended up I was the only wan who turned up on a bike, they all woosed out, 'kin lightweights. Lol  And it was after 11.30 when they rolled up. Rolleyes

Won weeeeee

Also met up with Deauman just as we were all leaving, nice to meet you again mate, sorry we didn't have more time.

145 miles in total, shitty roads that refused to dry out resulted in equally shitty bike by the time I'd got home.  Bike didn't miss a beat and fuel economy looks promising, will know for sure when I fill the tank.  Nice to get out on the bike. :badgerrock:
I've fitted some Scorpion cans I won on eBay for £156. In excellent condition, sound amazing, but could do with some packing wool around the baffle......but thats with me running them in the garage with the door closed, I'll give them a run in the outdoors first to be sure Smile

Set the CO trim to 20/20.

Weather not on my side so the test will need to wait...

I did look for the connecting pipes being sold separately  (to go between the TDM downpipe and the slip on can)....didn't surf the whole web but couldn't find any, because otherwise I would get the pipes and source some slip on cans elsewhere. Anyway, these popped up on the radar in the meantime.

i am only after the link pipes as i have a selection of different cans,i have looked on the web but can't fine anything yet.

You'ld think they would be easy to find. They're not to make just a single bend and some swaging

Hope you find some pal
