I found my Gel seat is a bit hard when it's cold out, and on a sweltering day make sure it's covered, else you'll burn ya backside

Found myself some free time on Sunday after watching my lad play football. Did about 150 miles in a loop.
Â
I was on one section of road near Woodcote / Reading area and it was that orrible misty rainy missle stuff. The road surface was really worn away and the front of the TDmmmmmmmmmm was skipping around looking for grip. Did not panic too much as I am used to this, but the back wheel was spinning up on acceleration as well. So for that section I calmed it down, tippytoed through and straightened everything out as much as I could. Next I got that realisation that apart from the rest of me being dry, my left toes were now having there own mini water feature moment.......yuk! My old Sidi boots have finally surrendered. The bike was luuuurvly and burbling away nicely throughout.
Â
Dear Father Christmas........... I have been a good boy all year [ apart from a couple of small incidents that I believe can be overlooked ] Could you please get me a new pair of boots? I promise to avoid road rage, and shaking my head at drivers that have tried to end my life. I also promise to still be polite, and to give a big wave to cars/lorries that move over for me.
I got some of those (look good, but took ages to arrive). Happy with result but did have to get a roll of that black sticky foam insulation tape to pad it out, as the fit was not very (at all) tight.
Yeah, I've done the IAM. And yeah, I recommend it (any so-called 'advanced training' come to that; not just IAM): A low cost training course based on the system used by the police, which is largely common sense once pointed out, making one smoother, quicker and safer. What's not to like? And why would one not want to tell others? :hide:
Well, To be fair to Zero Limits, I ordered them on Nov 4th. The lady who sent an email confirming the sale said they normally take 5-6 weeks, but due to Christmas, may take longer. I'm very pleased and surprised that I got them in 5 1/2 weeks.
Â
Must get some of this black sticky foam insulation tape though!
Thought I would go out for a pootle today, before I fitted the Fancy Stickers from Dappers. 15 miles from home in the middle of nearly nowhere a sudden and unexpected silence as the engine stopped.....Oh er missus I thought! Â
5 mins later was on the way again....battery terminal bolt had for some reason worked loose! Felt I should pootle further to ensure the issue was fixed, it is, but ran out of time to attach said stickers!

Went for a boxing day ride round, nothing special just a blast round some local roads, CRAZY windy but adds to the concentration factor, its MAD how warm it is, never ridden in December with such warm winds, simply weird!
