Thanks, just ordered a set.
Its been a beautiful day, mild, dry, lots of sunshine, and hardly any breeze so I had a ride from Harrogate to Stainforth and back via Wharfedale and Littondale.  Practically had Littondale all to myself.  I went to Stainforth to visit Stainforth Foss to see if the salmon were leaping up the falls.  There were some but its early in the season yet. The best time is at the end of October/early November, especially if the river is high after rain, then you can watch the salmon jumping every couple of minutes.  I reccommend seeing it if you're in the area and have not been.  Its not far from Devils Bridge if you're going there for a cuppa.  Some photos below from today and one of a salmon jumping there last year:

Very interested in the latest post by Favs.

Have you got any details on these please, and an idiots guide how to fit them?

Thanks
Oxford come with instructions on the back of the box usually Andy, do a search though you'll find a ton of info for how to fit through a relay which is advisable..

Re-bled new fit Blue spots/lines, quick road test/bed-in. Tension/lube chain. Bike washed thoroughly incase of brake fluid contamination on paint. Poished. Noticed headers blowing (😣)
Sorry, my fault for not being clear. It is the 2 x 18 LED COB lights that Favs has fitted.

Any info?

Thanks

Here ya go Andyt467. Wiring is red to red, black to black (they are polarity sensitive so if it won't work - unplug, rotate 180 degrees & re-insert). Supplied with correct fittings for T10 type (original park lamp).

Fitted a pair of muffs (could'nt go the laptop case route) these ones to be exact, better price than £50 for Tucano's and they are large enough that they fit over my GS hand guards which is why i bought them in the hope they would, will see how they perform over the weekend up in the borders, will grab a pic or 2 over the weekend....

Favs they aint gonna fit over your shovels though matey... Tongue

A few days ago - been busy since.

Took it for a 300 mile round trip to the Kilmory Knap Chapel, a Historic Scotland site with superb carved grave slabs and crosses - that cross is late 15th century. It's here down a single track road south of Crinan. As you can see the weather was superb.

Decided not to get the kidney panels and hugger painted. Dropped just the rack off at the paint shop to be done with the mirrors. So mirrors and rack in Hinckley and seat now in Huddersfield.

Fitted a Power Commander!  Should have done it a long time ago. Tight A..e!

What a difference!! Not perfect initially but very much better. Stopped and blipped in 2 notches in the first and 1 notch in the second range. I will not touch it again. No more feathering of clutch at any speed above walking pace. Overall the engine seems to have a bit of urgency now. Not more power just smoothing out things.

Installation was a bit funny though. Instructions ask for the white 3 pole connector to be unplugged and the PC plugged into there. There are 2 3pole plugs, a white and a black, both identical. As the PC connectors are white and the destructions ask for a white plug I applied logic and separated the white plug. Wrong!! She started but sounded not too happy. After a bit of Search here I swapped to the black connectors. This time everything worked.

By the way, I did the airbox mod with no effect at all and adjusted the CO2 with little effect. PC was my last resort on the matter.

Very pleased.

Rear shock next. See what Father Xmas brings.
Took one my sons girlfriends on her first motorbike ride, comment on getting back.......I have got to get one of these!!!

Took it 3000 or so km in 5 days, (Malaga - Hague), the old girl drank only 1,5 liters oil, other than the speedometer cable breaking the first day, everything else went well, not bad for a 23 years old bike!  :badgerrock:

After installing the FCR's, I slapped on some blue spot's in the front, steel braided front lines, Continental TKC 70's, and hit the dirt roads in the GA mountains. The bike is kicking ass!
