Well that was a lovely day chez AliG. Thanks Ali not only for the bacon and sausage roll and coffee but for greasing the dryzabone rear suspension linkage on my '11 inner. Looks like it's never seen grease before and with only 11k on the clocks, it's good to know that with yearly checks, it should never be an issue. Great to meet you Matt; we're now planning our 2026 Germany trip!

Nice day darn sarf! Nice to catch up with Ali. Great to meet Kelpie and the other Ali. A good sausage batch followed by lemon drizzle cake to celebrate Kate and Alis anniversary. Plenty of tea. Was nice having a chat about Monschau and I think I'm going to have to arrange a return to Germany next year. Maybe even an RTT!

You are very welcome. It was a delight that the removal and greasing of the suspension linkage was as simple and straightforward as it should be. It just proves that you cannot rely on a dealer to do this job and it really is a very simple operation. All you are doing is undoing one bolt at a time, applying some grease and re-fitting. If they have been off recently it takes about half an hour.

Well I told him at the g2g in Leominster, but I was rather under the influence at the time and I don't know that he ever actually agreed to do it!
