End Of Season Fettle Day Sunday 13Th September
Hi All,

Was thinking of hosting an end of season fettle day some time next month. Any interest? I've got a couple of things I would like to do, but nothing major that I can't do on my own over the winter, but I would like to try and get the old Divvy running if possible. It is just taking up space in the garage at the moment.

iSunday 13th September.

Come on lads, since when has September been 'End of Season' ???

You ride TDM's, not crotch rockets ........there is no end of season ......just a short pause when the snow is too thick to ride through  :good:

Maybe just need to loosen everything off and retighten again, just out of kilter a bit since you took the front wheel out at Ali's last time?

Would have loved to come but we're away the first two weeks of September.
You don't need balls to ride a big bike.

Hope to make it along....... new fork oil is the only thing I'm contemplating.......
At risk of doing something exciting!
That's a right p.i.t.a

When I do mine I just siphon out as much as possible (usually 250 ml) and replace with new.

Saves all that time and effort removing the forks.

This from the man whose step by step guide to changing fork oil is probably the most seen on the forum!

Yeh I know but having done it once made me not want to do it again and as I change it every year I don't see it as a problem.

I only do it the right way the first time (including flushing and cleaning with thinners) so I know where I'm starting from.

Where ya going. We need pics if it's somewhere nice 🌴

We had a great time in Norfolk. Collected pebbles on the beach, visited a different supermarket every day and in the evening watched the traffic lights outside the hotel change. The recycling center was better than expected as well.
Where would this "Fettling" event take place ?

Should of told me you were coming, I'd have arranged a ride around canister sewage plant.

Damn. Wanted to see that. 😂

Had a great time really. Saw loads of stuff and had the best fish n chips ever in Cromer. Will be going back in the not too far future.

In Chesham Bucks, where Ali lives.

Thanks Chris

Bummer. Bit too far from Devon for me I'm afraid.
Reminder for any undecided. It is next Sunday.
