Quote:Do we know if Dom got his license to sell alcohol, or will we need to bring our own provisions?

Any of the North West contingent got the Friday off work? I have and I'm going to have pleasant all-day dawdle to Dom's via Wales if anyone cares to join me.

I'm off on Friday as well so would be up for a dawdle.

Dave

What time are you thinking of setting off Chris. I'm in a B&B in Bala Thursday night. was thinking of leaving about 9:30, could meet  up with you en route.

Triumph Street Triple. For those hooligan moments......

Beta Alp 200. For falling off In muddy bits.

I suffer from C.D.O. It's like O.C.D. but all the letters are in the correct order, just as they should be.

It's a bit too far from here to meet up at 9:30 Paul. I was thinking of setting off from home at 9, to miss rush hour, but that wouldn't get us near Bala until noon. If you fancy it, you could shoot up the A494/A5104 to Mold (about 30 miles/45 minutes direct) and join us for the whole ride. We'll get into Mold at about 10. Or A494/A5 to Betws-y-Coed and meet us there - I know where there's some top quality cake to be had. We'll be in Betws around 11ish.

So scenic as to be damned near unbelievable! I was planning to make a full day of it  Wink

Wait until you see the route I'm planning back home on Sunday - scenic in a Welsh coast kind of way. :pimp:  I'm not doing much touring this year, so I'll be making the most of this weekend!

Back home now Chris, I'll have a look at the maps tonight. Wasn't expecting to meet at Bala at 9:30, just a rough idea for arranging a meet up somewhere along the way. By the way, not interested in cake..........;-)

Hello friends,

Unfortunately must I my trip to Leominster Cancel.

I had a little fight with a large deepfreezer on the basement stairs.

The freezer fell on me hit me on the knee.<span> :istupid:</span>

No bone is broken it but the doctor fixed my knee with plaster. Possible the plaster comes in time of my leg, but I miss it agility and stamina for a long journey to you.

Have a nice time and plenty of sunshine in Leominster. I'm with my thoughts with you.

A room is available in the Royal Oak hotel.

Got the Kawasaki sorted. Insured it today. Need to wait a couple of days for the MID to get updated & tax it.

Will be heading down on Fri but because I have a tank range of a lawnmower and will probably need to have several stops because my ribs still ache something rotten its probably best I travel alone. I'm planning M6 - M56 - A49

So if you see a black ER6 with enough luggage for a continental trip not on one of these roads I'm lost.Help!!

Will assess if I'm up to the ride out on Saturday. May have to just explore the local sights.

CU all on Fri :good:

Sorry to hear of your freezer fight Limbo. Get well soon
