I'll convert it to TomTom and add that one in a bit too - ETA: Â That seems a bit trickier than I thought, it seems Garmin plots the route and sticks waypoints at every junction, so there's hundreds of waypoints. Â Gamin just needs a few waypoints and the plots the route on the device. Â I'll probably be next weekend before I get a chance to sort it out.
Chris did you get to update the Garmin files? Graham told me how to do the upload but it would be pointless unless it is the most recent.

Unless Dave's changed anything since the ones I linked they'll be correct for Garmin, it's the conversion to Tomtom that I was going to look at and forgot about.

Did it myself using freeware version of Tyre, Garmin files and then saving as.

Does it look ok? Â When I tried it with ITNconverter it came up with either hundreds of points or just half a dozen in the wrong order depending on which bit of the Garmin file I loaded. Â Free version of Tyre doesn't want to work on 64 bit Windows.

Â
Yes. It looks identical with the same number of waypoints and in the same order.
Tyre worked for me on my Win7 64 bit setup. Version 6.43
It should be the same until you let the Tomtom logic get its' hands on it.
Â
Unless of course I am missing some finer detail.
Â
What do you think?
BTW
I'm using an old, re-purposed TOMTOM ONE, so if you have an ( "I RIDE BMWs ME!" ) uptodatey sat-nav, then the results may differ.
Will try later to get it up and running on my GO 60 for comparison.
I'm not too sure how Garmins store stuff, but that's the basic set of waypoints, the other file gives the full route as a shit load of waypoints as it makes every junction, I was planning on cutting this down to a number than my Rider 2 can manage.

Top 2 routes appear slightly wrong around rayader, we should turn left there, past elan village and the right up the elan valley past the rreservoirs as shown better on your 3rd map, There seems be a similar issue on the road down to Llandovery.
