A bit to remote for a destination, but situated on a stunning road leading to the Bay of Islands makes a great stop over to get into some dirt riding or fishing.

Nice place. If you're there try to visit the old timer museum next door as well.

I have not got all the gear, so camping is not on my list as fun things to to, but if I wanted to stay in a warm dry bed, this may be a good starting point as it lists bike friendly places

Was here in June this year.  Very friendly and helpful staff and very comfortable.  Briancon is a great base for the high cols.

Beware the whitevanman!
Hi all,

Myself and a few mates are doing the First World War sights and sounds this summer. I wondered if anyone had any recommendations for hotels etc in the Ypres (Belgium) to Albert (France) region. A bar and WiFi are 'musts' and somewhere to park the bikes (6).

many thanks guys.

Tony.
two hotels that i have used when some buddies rode over from the uk.     they both stood out from the others because they were very accomodating with secure parking  and generally being biker friendly with gear and stuff and the roads around the hotels were TDM heaven. Smile

this is in northern spain.  http://www.molinoaltoaliaga.com/

this ones southern spain.   http://www.laposadadelcandil.com/

hopefully some of you will get a chance to try them.
