Stafford Classic Bike Show 27/28 April
Pete,

As ever, thanks for the pictures. Once  again I couldn't make it to the Show so your photos were the next best thing!

A very successful trip for me - scored 2 genuine mirrors for the Saturno for £15 the pair - ha much  rarer than rockyhorse shit - clicked my heels for the rest of the day. Smile

Did you see the racing Yamaha stand? There was a white and red TZ350A (number 99 at the back) there that I'll be trundling around Mallory Park on in July (if my ol' worn oot back is up ferrit)

Great stuff, Alan - why not see if they will let you loose on that tasty OW45!

I plan to be at Festival of 1000 and will look out for you.

Tremendous footage and great sound quality. I had it on surround sound in the study here - nearly blew the waals oot!

Which Yamaha had 4 megas at about 1'05'' - was that the 4 stroke racer they pulled the plug on? ( about 68 when Honda pulled out?)

Yep - it was the bike Yamaha weren't brave enough to build.

The guy who shows/parades/races these unique bikes is a Dutchman called Ferry Brower (he's warming up No.1 in the vid) who owns YCRT,http://www.yamaha-classic-racingteam.nl/2010/ Yamaha Classic Racing Team. He was Yamaha's chief technician in the 60/70s, then founded Arai Europe. He and his guys built the bike that Yamaha should've built in the 60s.

Unforunately he's packing it all in at the end of this year and plans to start a Yamaha Classic Trials Team.
