As always, being a miserable, predictable, small-minded, boring auld git  I will certainly be there.

 

As always, I will be eating ham and cheese sandwiches, cake and a flask of coffee in the bandstand at 1230  

 

 

I am looking forward to the display of 50s british twins, vaguely snobbish veterans, and masses of memorabilia, lots of rusting tat on those stalls outside....

Keep well away from me if you want to escape from the show in less than 7 hours.


 
Actually ... I am seriously considering investing £17 ( or whatever ) in the "posh show brochure" and gping to the Bonhams Auction - never done it before, so any comments advice will be welcome!

Its just I have never been before and fancy a look at what's on display, and what they go for (living in dreams again)

 

I'd better get a sports jacket, cavalry twills and cravat ( and a big bl..dy cheque book) for the occassion

I will be there Sat & Sun (am). Staying B&B in Rugeley so will not be drinking the excellent ale in The Saracens Head this time.

 

Will be in a motor car with 3 others but we is still fie tin about whois dri vin.....

My usual pal for the Stafford is staying back in Geordieland fixing up his newly acquired Bongo.

 

We normally have come by car in last couple of years as he is always looking for stuff for his Honda collection.

 

So ... I shall be coming by TDM as I am out on the Thruxton with the Triumph Twins group on Sunday

 

Has anyone been to the Bonhams Auction before? Never splashed out the cash for a catalogue but thinking about it this year ... any views?

 

If anyone else is going from NW, please let us know

Hi Pete a half mate went in to the auction last year,just walked in behind some guys no problem, but he is a hard faced GS owner, us honest tdm riders wouldnt do that, would we?
