Couriers - Good Service
I used Interparcel to get a pair of panniers and frames sent from Essex to Scotland, and the whole process was great

Would recommend them to anybody

Hermes = very closely related to CitySprint. Scary x 1000!

I suggest that you were fortunate this time!

My stuff was collected by UPS

UPS =not Hermes = fortunate

Not exactly sure what this statement is intended to convey ?  Just seems to add confusion to the review.

Thanks for the review Nav, your factual experience is muchly appreciated. :good:

So I'd better explain.

This service covers all bases by "being the middle man" between you and many other next day networks.

The arrangement is a little bit too loose for my liking.

Who you get depends on who is most convenient. (see extract below)

Experience suggests that Hermes are to be avoided at all costs. But you won't be given the option.

Glad UPS were able to demonstrate that they were reliable.  :good:

To summarize. There can be no guarantee of good service. Too many layers. Your order is taken at a central location, it's allocated according to circumstances (mainly geographical), all is well when plans go according to plan but what happens when they dont? This is the real test.

Hermes ring alarm bells every time.

This forms part of my job so I speak from experience.
