my TRX is still up for sale, not been advertising it anywhere else as still trying to persuade myself to keep her but lack of wonga means i need to atleast put a post up.

she's standard apart from a baglux tank cover, ss chain guard, custom ss

fruity pipes, ss front brake lines, crash bungs, paddock bobbins, dark

black tint double bubble screen, K&N filter and a shortened rear mud

guard.

she's been serviced atleast every 4k miles by me, she had valve clearences done at 28k which were all fine

the front fairing is matt black rather than the standard and is a little tattier than the photos show

all brakes are new, pads etc and dics are in excellent condition. they are

OEM calipers but just as good as the bluespots on my TDMs, i would have

fitted one of my spare sets of blues/golds if i wasnt happy with them

The tyres are brand new Pilot Power 2CTs with less than 200miles on them.

full original tool kit is included.

she has an autocom fitted at the moment but i'll be removing that unless the buyer wants that too (will be extra cost)

re: oil consumption, its high compared to my TDMs but seems reasonably standard with the other TRXs at around 1lt per 1000miles.

the C&S are near the end of their lives and showing some rust due to not being ridden

speedo indicates 38k miles, but thats probably 1kish short of real due to a cable brake on a tour.


i also have a few spares rear plastics, seats (atleast 1 of each), original exhausts (atleast 2

sets), black anodised swingarm, clipon bars, original screens (atleast

2), forks with ohlins internals (swapped with this set as one of them

leaks), wheels, undertray plastics, crashbungs, also part worn tyres (i

always change as a pair and keep which ever is good incase of a puncture)

i think i also have spare bearings for the wheels (if i

didnt change them already), i also have a significant amount of engine

parts, atleast 3 engines in various conditions (i had intended to race

her before i knackered my back, so i may be keeping these for my TDMs

instead)

i'm sure there is much more that i've forgotton


re: paperwork

theres no current MoT or tax as i havent been riding her.

the V5 is in my name, i hadnt ever intended to sell so i havent kept much

serice history, i just used to keep a whiteboard in my garage with last

service details and always did the necessary atleast 1k miles before it was due


i'm not sure on current prices so i welcome comments from you all

i'd be happy to sell for slightly under book to an enthusiast from here,

especially if you want to come and take all the spares in 1 go.

i have plenty of time on my hands at the moment and under pressure from the old girl to clear space for her car,

Hutch and another mate are circling like vultures incase i break her, so i may end up doing that if no interest.

2009/10/25 = carb refurb, new tubes, cleaned and balanced with carb & colourtune @ 35560

2010/02/07 - service - replaced fluids, replaced/cleaned fliters, greased greasy

parts, checked all bearings and seals, tightened headstock, replaced

C&S @ 37300miles

2010/07/11 - new brakepads front and rear, new tyres Pilot Power 2CTs @37704miles


i also did a fluids and filter change in 2011 but cant find the exact details here


if being sold rather than broken i will do a complete service on the bike if the buyer wishes

personally when i buy a bike i would rather do it myself so i know its been done correctly.

a complete service to me is cleaned/replaced filters, new fluids (oil,

coolant, brake fluid), grease of all bearings (wheels, headstocks,

swingarm). I'll also drain and clean the carbs as its old fuel now.

The battery believe it or not is still the original battery and holds its charge well.


i really dont want to sell this but the suggestion of cleaning it up and

havign as a lounge ornament almost resulted in me being homeless.
