Hello from The Other Side ............of Luton/Dunstable.
Pin yourself on the Carpe map if you will, feel free to drop by, check out other mates within reach, and note the East Anglian gathering in May.
cheers. if the bike is working in May, i'll be sure to come.
The Mrs is an East Anglian so i'm sure i could conivunce her to hop on the back for that one.
total newb to fettling. can just about change plugs and filters. time to learn...
My name is Gareth, and I live in Bristol UK. After 6 years on a ZX6R, I've recently traded it for a TDM900. It is a very clean & nice standard example from 2003 with only 8K miles on the clock. I think it has never seen rain in its life.
The reason for changing from sports to tour are many but the main one being that I need something a bit more comfortable for some touring this summer in the French Alps. The wife seems much happier so now we can go further than 1/2 hrs ride.....
I must say I'm still getting used to the differences, never known the existence of torque!
I hope you guys can help me with some good snippets of knowledge, I'll post my first question soon.

[Yes, I know far too many 'very's ]
An old Cherokee told his grandson, "My son, there is a battle between two wolves inside us.
One is Evil. It is anger, jealousy, greed, resentment, inferiority, lies, and ego.
The other is Good. It is joy, peace, love, hope, humilty, kindness, empathy and truth.
The boy thought a while then asked "Which Wolf wins?"

Hello Jacek, and welcome. Your English is very good, so don't apologise.
Are you also a member of the Polish "TDM Zone"? Others please note - the site has an English page
What's your location? Feel free to add your pin to the Carpe map.
Do you have pictures of your bike, touring in Poland etc. - maybe even as possibilities for our 2013 calendar? (See the thread for that).
