Seems along with all the other notification systems this is also on the blink too. If you change yer email addy (or any udder bits requiring validation) in yer Carpe account details, it may not then send you a validation of change and yer account will then get stuck in validating.
Might be worth just sending us a PM afore any account tinkering if yar worried about disappearing into the "validation" black hole!

we are experiencing some intermittent gremlins with email notifications for new members signups and email address changes
if you have newly registered or changed your email address please contact carpe admin stating your username and email address and we will manually authorise the change

It is now important to please inform us by PM or email if you get stuck in validation when registering or changing any info as until the "gremlins" are fixed your account will get DELETED after 15 days in validating. I have had to do this to help combat the huge spam attacks.
New members will now need to do the email validation (if it works!) and then will require admin validation also before accounts are activated.
