I am Steve from Tamworth Staffordshire. I bought my TDM off Ebay last year and got an absolute bargain!!!
This is my seventh TDM, I have a 1998 Silver/Black 850. All standard except for exhaust, heated grips and belly pan. I also have a Givi Luggage set fitted.
In my mid 50's but love my bikes and tour whenever I can.
Anybody in my area??
Catch ya later........

Doin valve clearances? Use dappers valve shim exchange program and the job will be carroty - Free (other than you postin me yer shims) for sporting members.
Looking into getting another bike after a couple of years layoff and a TDM looks to be just the ticket, reasonable to insure but with enough grunt to keep me happy
Lot's of info here to keep me busy for a while, so see ya round the forums....

I'm Mark, currently living in Worcester and will be picking up a green 1997 TDM850 on Saturday.
Now to show my ignorance - It's the one with the round headlamps - not sure of the model designation, but always liked the shape
I work in sunny London so the TDM will be the tool of choice for my runs down to work. It's already got heated grips, and I've just ordered soem Kedo hand guards. Top box, luggage rack and engine bars next on the shopping list.
And the TDM will be in good company keeping my Fireblade (hooning tool) company in the garage - Stops the missus fitting too much more crap in there!!!
Congrats Mark,, it will be a cracking bike for your commute,,,,round headlights make it a mk1,,,1991-1995 ,,,,, 1996-2001 mk2 (foxeye) then came the 900
