Cheers for the comments, yes imported in 1997 at the age of 4 to benefit from a British education, all the winkers work up front when received only had the small ones and flashed very fast, needed some wider mirrors and Busters were doing the winker ones for £15 pair so fitted and it slowed down the flash rate as well so left all working. Screen is taller than a Powerbronze not much flip though but wraps round more, crash bars not a clue but they look more a dress up item than a functional item.
Fitted DL hand guards wired in an accessory socket in the trim panel below the clocks and voltmeter in the dash panel foam above the temp gauge, ultimate power lead for the battery as its a total ballache to get to, quick disconnect fuel pipes and a wander power lead at front of seat to power stuff in the tank bag, gps fitted to cross brace on bars feeding audio to an Autocom in tank bag, so all set for the coming commitments this year.

Hi,

Just thought I'd introduce myself with a big Hello - long time lurker finally a member - And now a 9er owner. Got me a shiny '05 last week.

I'm definitely blown away by just how competent this beast is. Getting me to and from work with a big grin - moreso at the pump.

Lookin' forward to meeting up with other Carpe riders soon.

Cheers

Val.

Hi All.

I picked up my TDM900 yesterday after selling my DR650 and ZRX1200 to fund the purchase. I have wanted one for a long time and I am not disappointed with the purchase.

Hope to spend a bit more time with this than the last bike.

I am based about a 100 kms north of Wellington so will have access to some lovely roads and virtually year round riding.

Cheers from New Zealand

You're a lucky S*D
An old Cherokee told his grandson, "My son, there is a battle between two wolves inside us.
One is Evil. It is anger, jealousy, greed, resentment, inferiority, lies, and ego.
The other is Good. It is joy, peace, love, hope, humilty, kindness, empathy and truth.
The boy thought a while then asked "Which Wolf wins?"

"The one you feed" replied the old man...

Now I am a member, I can keep an eye out for a few events.
