As I was not there, what happened Colin ?<!--QuoteEnd--><!--QuoteEEnd-->

well...

Colin was enjoying the beautiful scenery so much that he decided to do a bit of off-roading. Which then involved the company of a 4x4 and some rope.

I on the other hand was enjoying the roads so much, that I decided to take a closer look!
Turned out the road wasn't as pretty close up.
.. Although the ambulance driver did look a bit like George Clooney! Which was nice!
Shame I hadn't shaved my legs that morning eh?

It's a good job we didn't leave the G2G a bit later, -1 this morning and there's snow! Have a look here http://www.cairngormmountain.co.uk/
Beware the whitevanman!
Well there was yet another Highland Carpe-TDM G2G yesterday. All that were invited turned up (i.e. me ). It was a bit nippy up in Tomintoul (but sunny and bright), but the road over to Dufftown was glorious.

Mucho fun was had by all.

Little bit of a post-scipt to the Aviemore Adventure: the Bunkhouse has a write up in the Travel section of today's Grauniad (p4). Includes piccie of our room and live music.

Wonder if they will put prices up next year now they have national recognition.....
