<!--quoteo-->QUOTE<!--quotec-->I was in the supermarket just now and the bloke behind me in the queue had
a Ferrari hat on. He saw me looking at his hat and I said "The store

never seen anyone so embarassed in my life.<!--QuoteEnd--><!--QuoteEEnd-->

Funny how the etiquette varies depending on sports.
What Ferrari did is absolutely fine in the Tour de France. But in the Tour, when a guy has a breakdown, the leader can't take advantage of it. In F1 this is the norm to rejoice on competitor's misfortune.

Life in the pit lane was quite interesting, unlike the 'racing'
The answer is simple - just don't watch it!

The point of the sport seems completely misrepresented by the media (especially BBC) who desperately try to make it look like competion between drivers, when as we all know it is a team competition between technically advanced groups of engineers and happens to include a couple of lucky lads who get the chance to sit in the seat and hold the wheel.

The frustrating thing is it distracts TV motor sport coverage from more visually exciting events such as WSB ( where we have UK runners up front), MotoGP, BSB, world rallying etc...

No idea what this dispute about some red car is but, in very costly adult team sport, I think they will play to win not try to perpetuate the fantasy about the drivers actually battling and winning each individual race on their merit.

Of course a driver would let a strategically placed team player past if it helps in championship and his own hopes are minimal. I would expect Rossi to help Lorenzo if he could in the later races later in the season.

Pete

p.s. Sorry for tirade but lack of recognition by TV of 2 wheel sport makes me SO angry

I am sure you will all correct the inaccuracies in the above but it was worth it - now to enjoy my tea.

Keep music live!
