Whas the point in a scoot.........bit too big and they catch the wind loike a sail, good over longer distances than a big single but bland ferra 9 mile commute. Tiger, lovely bit of kit but too big and too close to a TDM 900 in terms of style. R1150GS, too big and again similar to a TDM !!! MZ Mastiff = FuN.
spyball alarm/immob,
bluespot brake calipers and Stainless hoses, Fournales air adjustable shock with Remote Resevoir,
forks raised 10mm thru yokes, racetech linear fork springs in 15 wt oil, Kappa wingrack/luggage, heated grips, Kedo handguards, dual heat controller to power heated jacket liner and or pants!!, Stebel 136DB horn, K&N air filter, colour matched Baglux tank cover (magnetic tank bag modified to fit cover), osram +50% headloight bulbs, headlight protector,"
NitramSpecial" parking loight, tail light indicators all running on LED's & incorporate "Lite Buddies", MK7 Scottoiler fitted, taller screen, 2-2 stainless steel
CCC's, Devil stainless down pipes. MKI Renntec engine crash bars & sump guard.

engine changed july 20
07 on a dyno run it made
79.1BHP / Torque 59.9Had a brief flirtation with a 1999 MKIIa but it blew an exaust valve on the M5 so was sold on to be repaired.

Played the filter game on the M4 the other morning and we passed each other several times. Had a good look and as I turned off he gave me a wave and gunned it, Lovely!

55mpg, that's very respectable. More or less in the 9er league. I didn't think Tiger were that good on petrol.

Can't really call it a test ride, but had a 30 min jaunt on one at the recent Ducati evening at the Ace.

Problem was we did 5 miles up the A40 to Target roundabout and back, complete waste of time really, all we did was 40/45 mph in a train behind cars, no filtering or fun allowed.

So all I can say is it looks big but is actually very slim and not daunting to ride, but at low speeds in traffic it was bl@@dy hot. Clearly not what it's built for and never had the chance to try out 150bhp, a few throttle blips confirmed there's lots there but no comment on cornering ability or running at pace sadly.

I guess on paper and if you have that sorta money to spend it may tickle all the right places for you, no harm in a test ride when the ankle allows.

Just got back from a 80 miles ride out, followed about 50 Harleys from the 'Oxford Chapter' back through Henley and down,, watching all the people laughing and pointing as a load of Old Men wearing Jeans n Leather posing on 2 tonnes of Noisy Chrome trundled by.

Sort of made my mind up really.

Had a good long test ride on the new Multistrada a few weeks ago. Thought the looks are OK. Engine and handling are fantastic! Not sure about all the fancy electricery they've loaded onto it. I came to the conclusion I'd NEVER take it our of sport mode. Also, a lot of the fancy stuff such as the multi modes for the engine and the key-less ignition are brand new on this bike, not been used by Ducati before and I'd worry it was all going to pack up on me!

All in all a fantastic bike but £13000 more fantastic than my niner....... I think not.

Wouldnt even ride it. Just put it in the lounge and stare....
