If you want to go non motorway, Harwich ferry to Holland cuts a fair bit of mileage. You're welcome to crash at mine the day before Ian. Moose is probably going to be here also. I've not really gone too far on the route at this stage, though.
If your confirmation is different to your intended booking, please contact the hotel directly. I am sure they are flexible enough to fix it.
And someone asked about non-TDM guests: We are not running a strict one-model event! Join us, tour with us, party with us. Even some of the German forum's staff have converted to "inferior" bikes in the mean time.
don´t forget snorkel and swimming trunks, the pool at the hotel is quite nice

Cheers Trev. Looks like a better option than me going from Hull to Holland (124 miles across the water )
Hmmm...... Union Jack towels or England towels ?
depends where ya from, i'm English so St Georges for me but you on the other hand are northern so who knows what ya are
Sounds like a great trip that... I wish I could plan that far ahead Well maybe once it is a bit closer to that date I'll be able to sort something out. I need to find out bit more about the area... Who knows Dablik might come as well...
Two roads diverged in a yellow wood,
And sorry I could not travel both
And be one traveler, long I stood
And looked down one as far as I could
To where it bent in the undergrowth;
My Mum says my Dad was 'some sailors'
I think the England towels might be more appropriate for Germany, although the Union Jack towel was used in the Carling Black Label ad a few years ago

I can't find anywhere that will let me book that far ahead!

Just from online quotes, Matt. Couldn't go as far as June, but booking 6 months in advance was giving consistent pricing. The new prices will be announced in a month or so anyway, so probably best to wait until then for more accurate prices. Single cabins start at £24 from Stenaline. The trick is to book as soon as you can once the prices have been announced. Same with Eurotunnel.
I'll be doing an overnight stopover mid route between ferry/tunnel crossing and Masserberg. Maybe Munster/Lippstadt area if I go via Hook of Holland, or iif I go via Folkestone, just onto Germany past Eupen somewhere as that's very scenic and the roads improve dramatically!
