Real Pure Road Racing

I,m just back from practice at the Bush Road Race over here in Ireland.. The Races are Saturday 19th .. For those of you Road races are that .... Pure on the roads out there that we ride everyday... Bumps ..Blind Corners.. High Hedges ..Wire fences..Walls.. Fences..Everything that scares the sh*t out of you when your getting your scary moments any time you head to the wild side..... What these Guys do on these narrow twisty scary country roads is unbelieveable... [img]style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/clapping.gif[/img] Someday when you have a bit of spare cash and a free weekend forget the NW200 or the Ulster GP or the IOM TT ....Come over .. stand in a field .. look over a hedge and watch Pure racing that will take your breath away.. These Guys do this cause they love it .. they live it .. they pay their way to do it .. top prise maybe £150 .. Tyres .. fuel.. entry fees paid by themselves ..friends anyone who will help.. They do it cause they Love it ... Hope someday you get a chance to see it up close ....... [img]style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/banana.gif[/img] I think High Lights might be show in a week or two on BBC NI .. think Sky do that.. If so watch and enjoy... It's top of my list next time I'm up over, me, the missus & the TDM over to Ireland for some road racing & guiness. Any particular recommendations? Tandragee looks mad.

Any one of the Irish Road Races North or South are all Mad so make sure one of them is on when you get a chance to come over.. You will get a list on the WWW. just type in :Irish Road Racing: and you,ll find all the Info you,ll need.. Skerries 100 is a good one just outside Dublin first weekend in July.. but anyone of them will do , they,re all Mad!!!!! [img]style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/good.gif[/img]

Aye its mad alright but in a nice adrenalin fueled way - I raced the Killinchy 150 a few times - once the sickly feeling from the pit of yer guts leaves its a thrill all the way to the flag [img]style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/yahoo.gif[/img]
