Jolly's 1st On Board!
I know it's still a bit vibey but trying to mount it under/ beside the engine!!

HERE

Still need more rubber and it only gets bad in higher speeds IE around the 59mph mark

It's amasing how 59mph looks SO much faster when viewed from a low level angle.

Defo more rubber/damping, but my concern would be debris / stones etc smacking into the cam!?

I chose to cross the lines, there was nothing coming and considering how far over the lines I was and the acceleration of the vehicle that I was in full control of, I did not considerate it a danger Orifcer.. Hic!!

Those last few bends were at....ummmm 3 figure speeds until I had to change it to reserve

The cam is a mini DV from flea bay and I want to mount it on the middle bolt of the bottom of the oil pump cover. So you can see the front wheel movement as I think this make a good action point, but he vibes are causing me hassle (as you can see). It is mounted on a rubber mount on a 1mm steel sheet and the camera mount is attached via 2x 2mm rubber sheet mastic-ed onto the steel....... Tom changes are going to be attaching another piece sheet from the bottom of the camera mount to the front oil filter housing bolt and seeing if that makes it stable enough...

Each to their own, but aside from losing count of the number of endorsable offences contained within such a small amount of time you might want to be a little bit careful posting video of such things onto a public website.

With the power of the Interweb it's really not that difficult to work out some details of who you are and roughly where you live, and just in case that's interpreted in a manner other than which it's intended, it's obviously not some form of odd threat, simply a heads-up that anyone can look at these things and you wouldn't be the first biker to be dragged over the coals after posting similar content. Given I and many others know those roads it wouldn't be rocket science to work out a few basic time\distance calculations to verify your 59mph claim either.

You also may want to consider that in the “pursuance of their duty”, if the police happen to decide that your video may provide useful evidence (even if you and it have simply witnessed something), they may well be able to seize it: heaven forbid that it may inadvertently also contain other "moments of interest"...
In the world of I.T. anything is possible (but only according to those that don't understand the problem)

Nice one. Skill with the technology and with the riding. However, please remain patient and safe. Avoid the double white line crossing.

Sorry, I am not police but I can't help thinking that there is nothing urgent enough to not wait for a safe place to overtake. I guess you would say that I lack discretion if I told on this forum that I care about you Take care.

Each to their own, but I personally would be wary of incriminating myself on videos.

I look forward to seeing your videos from the Nurburgring.
I'm still trying to find the best mounting places for mine, so far I have had it on my lid using the m3 super velcro, great shot of the screen during the ride doh! so I've packed the bottom out a bit but not tried it yet. Also have the super velcro on the little fork protector things, again packed up, however not tried it there yet as I'm not sure how much I trust this velcro. Must say tho the camera never blew off my lid, but that had the added safety of the lanyard it came with round my neck.

As promised....
The front is just some sheet folded and the placky camera mount is masticed onto the sheet then the cable tie only just holds it in (and is passed through the sheet in pic 3) place and the wire is attached to the cable tie and passed through the hole in the camera just help hold it in place...

Rear mount has 2 small squares of rubber matt (Approx 2mm thick each). Then just cable tied on!! I do have another piece of wire that goes from the 'R' to keep camera at right angle and in place.. Again the cable tie is not tight round it, just enough to stop it from falling out..
