Just wondering is there a provisional date for the annual Northern G2G,
I hope to do a sponsored wheel and walk for MS in September,
They have 2 dates for the walk Sunday 12th and Saturday 18th,
So i need to know what date we are getting together before i register.

Paddy - It seems I am the lucky organizer of this years Irish G2G - didn't know there was a Northern one as well. Anyway you might join up with us when I get myself organized. I'm thinking about late July and starting off meeting in Roscommon. I have a tumbledown shack there and we can stay there and camp in the field and have the facilities from the hunble abode, maybe strike the BBQ up if it's dry (in August ). This will give anyone from the bottom half of the country one decent days riding to get that far. Next day head north for Donegal. Anyone coming from the top half could hook up in Roscommon or go straight to Donegal. I have to contact Dutchman again but he offered us a house/garden so stay there for the Saturday night. Anyone who wants to head back to Roscommon is welcome to break the ride up on sunday and then home on monday.
I will plan the route and put the word out after March or so - needless to say all Carpe folks North and South are more then welcome.
APW
Have you ever lent someone 20 quid and never seen it again? It was probably worth it.

Sorry Paddy - I just read your location and my tiny mind wandered off on it's own from there
Speaking of Scotland, I'm just packing my bag to fly there tomorrow for a family weekend - North Berwick I believe.
Cheers - I look forward to the G2G - APW

Aviemore last year was amazing. Especially the Sunday when Dandy took us through parts of Scotland that don't exist! Some of the best roads I've ever been on.
Where's Joe when you need him? Isn't this his gig?

I've been lurking in the shadows lads to see where this thread was going. I'm easy (as the Highland sheep know to their cost!) about where we go. Howsabout someone setting up a poll?

As Paddy is waiting for a reply Re: dates, why don't we agree the date, then we can decide where to go. ( I vote for Aviemore)

Propose the weekend of 11th-12th September.
Comments please.<!--QuoteEnd--><!--QuoteEEnd-->
I agree on both counts, although I'm flexible on the dates, but I can't do the weekend before.
